Marie Wright

Marie Wright is a Dartmouth native who is a member of the class of 2016 at Saint Francis Xavier University, where she majored in Marketing and minored in Psychology. She was the recipient of the Canadian Scholarship at StFX and ranked top ten academically in the Schwartz School of Business. Recently, she was named the 2016 Atlantic Canada Student Entrepreneur for Enactus Canada and competed at the national level. Founding her own video production company, working under the StFX Marketing and Communication department, and leading the StFX video team, Marie has a passion for digital marketing and changing the face of online promotions. Currently, she works as a videographer for Common Good Solutions, which helps to start and grow social enterprises. On her spare time, Marie can be found battling social issues such as homophobia through a nonprofit called Get REAL, raising cancer awareness through Relay for Life which she emceed at StFX over three consecutive years, or representing the StFX President’s Circle of Young Alumni in recognition of her outstanding contribution to student life and achievement. As an adrenaline junkie and ocean enthusiast, she has a love for travelling but is proud to call the east coast home.

Marie is a recipient of the RBC Social Enterprise Venture for Canada Fellowship.
