Andrea Boza

  • McGill University

Born and raised in Barcelona, Andrea is a member of McGill University's graduating class of 2016. She double majored in Psychology and Economics, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Science.

Andrea’s passion for entrepreneurship led her to co-found and lead SLASummit, a social enterprise that works to change the current international development discourse and become an incubator for student-led projects. In its second year, SLASummit has so far catalyzed three projects in Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru, and has raised over $30k. Its model’s potential has been recognized nationally and internationally.

While at school, Andrea held several leadership positions such as President of the Spanish and Latin American Students Association and Director of Branch Management of the Americas team of 180 Degrees Consulting. Through her experience working at Flatbook, one of Canada’s largest Series-A funded companies, she consolidated her desire to be part of the Canadian start-up ecosystem.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys thought-provoking conversations, gaining exposure to different cultures (especially by exploring their food), and planning her next travel adventure.
