- Carleton University
Chris in an Ottawa native who recently completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering at Carleton University. He began to develop an interest in social entrepreneurship in 2012 while working alongside a Fair Trade coffee co-operative in Uganda and has since been committed to using business as an outlet for creating real lasting positive change in the world.
Throughout his studies Chris worked part-time in a customer support role at an Apple Store in downtown Ottawa, engaging with over 20,000 customers, and also spent a summer semester working at a consulting engineering firm. Chris looked to diversify his skill set by getting involved with different extra curricular activities on campus such as volunteering with the Engineers Without Borders chapter and competing at the Ontario Engineering Competition.
In his free time you will likely find Chris balancing on his slackline or solving a Rubik’s Cube, but to observe him in his natural habitat you will need to join him by the campfire on one of his summer canoe trips.
