Jason Mark is a Toronto native who is a 2016 BBA graduate of the Schulich School of Business, where he majored in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. At the age of 13, he started his first entrepreneurial venture that would profit more than $10,000. In high School, Jason was a varsity athlete on the swim and water polo teams, awarded Valedictorian of his graduating class and was awarded different scholarships including one from the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs. During his time at the Schulich School of Business, he was the co-president of the York Entrepreneurship Society, a finalist in the Start-up Weekend regional competition, and Schulich’s UBC Entrepreneur 2015. He has internship experience at the Bank of Montreal Nesbitt Burns in the Junior Broker Development program and launching his 2nd venture, vCards, backed with Ontario Government funding. In his last semester at Schulich, he attended Hong Kong University’s business program for a semester abroad. During this 5 month exchange, he got the opportunity to explore 8 different countries and 24 different cities across South East Asia. In his free time, Jason is typically involved in producing or editing video, perfecting his culinary skills, playing competitive hockey, executing his next start-up idea or thinking of his next travel destination.
