Jeehan, originally from Pakistan, was born in Bahrain and raised in Dubai, UAE. She is a member of the Class of 2016 at Mount Allison University where she majored in Commerce and minored in Religious Studies. Over the last five years, Jeehan has gained experience in fast-paced environments within both small-scale and multinational organizations in Canada and the UAE. A problem solver at heart, she has channeled her creativity, strategic thinking, and love for engaging with people into different MarCom, PR, and management positions. In her final year at Mt.A, she co-founded an apparel start-up and has spent multiple summers working in research & business development at a consulting firm in the Emirates. Jeehan is passionate about community building and advocacy work. During her time at Mt.A, she coordinated a student mentorship program, spent a year on a residence team as Assistant Don, and sat on the executive of multiple student societies. She also curated two TEDx events and partook in organizing a national conference highlighting the contribution of women across multiple disciplines to Canadian public discourse. In her free time, Jeehan loves cooking, spending time with friends, and exploring whichever city or town she’s in, one coffee-shop at a time.
