Meaghan Wright

  • St. Francis Xavier University

Meaghan is a Dartmouth NS native, 2016 StFX BBA graduate, and cofounder of Mirror Image Media, a full service video production company based in Halifax.

With over four years of marketing and entrepreneurial experience under her belt, Meaghan has competed in multiple case competitions such as Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec, ran the StFX Video Team under the StFX Marketing Department, and has produced dozens of videos through Mirror Image Media with clients such as LuluLemon, Halifax Pride and Bell Media.

Meaghan’s passion for social enterprise stemmed from bringing the Get Real Movement to the east coast, where she speaks to high schools about unlearning homophobic language, as well as volunteering for multiple cancer associations in honour of her late mother. Following this passion, Meaghan is currently working as a videographer for Common Good Solutions where smart business tools meet social impact. There, she uses storytelling in order to shift and improve perceptions about social enterprise across Canada.

You can usually find Meaghan booking her next backpacking trip after travelling across both New Zealand and Europe, convincing others why Halifax is the best city in Canada, eating donair poutine, and of course, spending time with her twin sister Marie, who is also a fellow with VFC.

Meaghan is a recipient of the RBC Social Enterprise Venture for Canada Fellowship.
