Join students from across Atlantic Canada for a weekend-long event to develop innovative solutions to a challenge faced by a local business. 

16-week paid placements available across Atlantic Canada that challenge you with innovative projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Placements are avaliable in fall, winter and spring.

20+ hours of personal and professional skills development to ensure you add value right away in your work placement and are ready to enter the workforce after graduation.

Venture for Canada Interns are Canadian post-secondary students looking to gain entrepreneurial experience in STEM and business positions, while developing personal and professional skills alongside a diverse and supportive community.

The Atlantic Internship Program and Innovation Jam are only open to students who can meet all three of the following requirements:

1.

POST-SECONDARY STUDENT

You are enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution at the time of the internship start date.

2.

CANADIAN STATUS

You are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have been granted refugee status in Canada.

3.

You are legally entitled to work in Canada.

A New Kind of Internship

Our Atlantic Internship Program supports paid internships for Canadian post-secondary students looking to develop entrepreneurial work with innovative Atlantic Canadian companies, and join a diverse community. 

We offer internships in the Summer, Fall and Winter semesters.
